Ozwest Group’s team of installers and fabricators understated the scale of
works to be performed at the
Church house development for the internal glass balustrading.
An impressive overall look for the glass balustrading of flat segmented, heat-soaked 21.23 mm low-iron toughened laminated glass with full surround polishing, most pieces weighing more than 120 kg per panel. All glass was templated out of MDF to ensure accuracy.
The use of a satin-finish 50 mm stainless steel tube for the handrail, with glass brackets welded, cut, and polished on site, achieved a continuous flow across the extensive balustrading.
Lastly, to complete the installation, each glass segment was supported with round standoff components fitted through each glass panel and through the base stringer of the staircase.
